I think he means in a way of 'seeing' eachother. Not really eachother, but as a CSI-character. But I think it will be complicated to have something like that, don't you think? ((It sounds cool though!))

Oh, I read that as using the show characters (which is allowed on the RPG) to role play cases.

The RPG moves along very slowly, and confusedly methinks, though it is fun for sure. Nevertheless, I'm always full of crazy ideas, so am wondering if there is a better way of doing it? Supposing someone (like me) felt like acting as "dungeon master". Now, I warn you, I've never actually played a proper Dungeons and Dragons type game, but I know the basic way it works. There is a game master, who writes and directs game play, which means it moves along a little less aimlessly and confusedly than if there is no one at the helm who "knows" the plot. I would be up for writing a CSI D&D type scenario, if anyone is interested in playing along. I don't want to step on toes, so I don't see why we couldn't have both types of RPG running simultaneously. I could just start a separate thread. In short, I would invent a crime, a crime scene which you would have to explore, a cast of suspects and so on, and you CSI guys would come in and try to figure it out. I would give you a brief description of the crime scene etc. and by your actions you would "discover" evidence and eventually, the murderer, assuming there is one. I would play the roles of all the suspects, so you would have real people to interview. I could throw in unexpected events and problems. Like the CSI Lab blowing up! (No, I'm not that cruel, I promise not to blow up all the evidence on a regular basis.) Anyway, I'm online every day, so I promise I wouldn't hold everyone up. I'm also pretty imaginative I think... And a person of infinite jest. H.

Wow, I'm sorry I didn't notice this earlier. This is an excellent idea, Hamlet! (I should know, I've played Dungeons and Dragons). In fact, that's what I originally thought the RPG thread would be like, but it's more of a compendium of the characters' ideas. While it's fun either way, it might be a bit less confusing to have a Game Master.

Thanks Brian. Yes, I too thought the RPG would be more like a traditional RPG too. Anyway, apart from you no one has shown much interest it seems! I haven't been here myself for a few days actually. I joined the forum mostly for the RPG, and have been waiting to take part since May. I guess I'm pretty fed up waiting... H. *vanishing Grissom-like into the sunset...*

Fabian and Doreen are responsible for the RPG since neither Aidoann or I have time to really commit to it. Feel free to discuss any ideas you have with them. You can also open a new thread regarding this in the RPG sub-forum, in fact I would prefer if you guys took the discussion there and not here.

I've been pretty busy with school work and my coming exams. But if you have any ideas for the RPG, like what Fogeltje said, you can discuss it with Fabian and me.
