**MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS**
I watch a lot of TV. I am a self confessed TV addict, but never ever before has anything I've ever watched given me nightmares. I dreamt about being buried alive, suffocating, being eaten by insects and shooting myself. That's how good the season finale was. It is still playing on my mind 24 hours later and probably will do for a while yet.
I watched it last night and was gripped. It was absolutely, monumentally amazing. I was totally sucked in and I'm sure I didn't blink for two hours! I'm a fan of Tarantino and it certainly had his unique stamp on it. The story was very well done and was not overtaken by the emotions of the characters. Because of that, it gave the viewer the opportunity to focus on their own feelings and I have to say, I was pretty scared there for a while, hence the nightmares which is all new to me!
George Eads was brilliant. How he didn't get nominated for an Emmy is beyond me. That was the finest TV performance from a male actor I've seen this year. He was outstanding. The part where he cried out just broke my heart. It was so real.
The finale blew me away. The tension, the fear, the emotions, the frustration....everything was spot on. It was a perfect recipe for fantastic television.
One thing that is bugging me is the scene where Nick was recording his goodbye message, Grissom was lip reading and replied something like, "You never have/did, Nick." What do you think Nick said? Was it something like, "Grissom, I'm sorry I let you down."?
