Okay. I never really liked action, it always bores me. I always rather see some quality writing, good dialogue etc.

Always only dialogue and collecting evidence is after a while kindy like boring. Some action in the show is good but not to much action or else it is action show without the forensic sience.

And that's what I think Miami has turned into. There is way too much action in it to make it a believable show. But I have never found CSI without action boring. I guess it just depends on what you like.

There should be some triangle: Science - Emotions - Action. Miami is just a bit too much action, while Las Vegas tends to be just a bit too much science. But, then again, the triangle doesn't necessarily have to be in balance, but it has to be for everyone to like a show. BUt that's just how I see it, I may just be terribly wrong.

I think every CSI show has a little more of one of your 'triangle' scorpii. Miami has more action NY has both science and emotions a little more than achtion Las Vegas has more scinece. So they are all different.

I didn't start watchin CSI: Miami regularly until I caught the preview for Nailed. I'd caught a couple re-runs of season three, and I'd never seen anything from seasons 1 and 2 (which means I've never seen Speed, and from what I hear I should be trying to see some).
I don't really like CSI: Miami. I started watching it 'cause I was like "Ryan? They can't kill Ryan, I actually like him!" Then I started watching it to see Ryan/Eric moments (which are highly entertaining 'cause there's so much friggin' tension there). Then I saw the second part of the S4 finale, and I remembered why I didn't like it: Horatio.
I don't like him as a character, I don't like how everything is about him. Every little thing seems to revolve around Horatio. I saw the Ep. before part one of the S4 finale, and the prievew made it look like: (highlight if you want to read)
1. Marisol got shot at at the wedding. and 2. There'd be a more interesting plot line than there was.
Instead, Marisol gets shot later, and the plot line was not so good (because it revolved around Horatio... again!).
Anyway, that's my beef. Plus, CSI: Miami's eps are much less case oriented, and I prefer the show to be case oriented and have the character development occur because of something in the case (or soemthing like that).
Note: Don't get me wront, it has it's moments (Nailed, for one), and I respect the opinions of those who like it and disagree with me, this is just what I think.

i prefer csi miami... the fast scenes with lot of action are really amazing... i liked also when horatio did lab work... i liked speedle but i also like ryan... i just hate nat...
i don't like csi ny... i don't know how to explain to u... i just don't like it...
csi lv is cool because they follow a lot of evidences... the only thing i don't like is the fact that don't have a lot of action...

I watched Miami only once or twice (every once in a while I feel like it). I just can't stand horatio (or horroratio as I like to call him). Every time I shouted at the screen that he has to say a sentence normal XD (sorry for the people who like Miami).
Btw, they did something in South Park that made me laugh. Kyle: Ike! Do an impersonation of David Caruso's career! *Ike dives*
