If I can give you a tip Blitz, you really should try to watch more episodes of NY on thursday nights. 1 episode doesn't do it. 3.5 years ago I was chatting on the MSN messenger with a friend about what tv shows we like to watch. She named a few shows, including Crime Scene Investigation. When I saw that it was on that night, I just decided to watch the episode, cause there was nothing else on and she said it was nice. It was episode 2.08 Slaves of Las Vegas. After that I watch it when I felt like it, so the episodes after weer 2.10 Ellie, 2.11 Organ Grinder, 2.15 Burden of Proof and 2.17 Felnious Monk. The week after that the channel decided to repeat the first season, and from that week on I watched it every week. I saw the first 4 seasons and the first 2 seasons of Miami, on telly, but after that I started downloading the episodes (via legal ways, of course), cause I couldn't wait! So now I'm watching all the three shows, though I don't like Miami so much anymore, so I'm just a fan of CSI and CSI: NY. I am pretty sure my friend has no idea that she made me an addict. But I think I would have picked up the show sooner or later anyway .

Blitz... *gasp* how could you not like NY? Haha I'm kidding. You have the right to watch what you want. But Ii'm gonna give you advice to go catch a few eppies of NY. Believe me, when I first watched it, I didn't like it but after a few episodes it grew on me.

Same here . I forgot to tell what made me like CSI. For me it was the forensics. I was so fascinated by the way they solved murders. And I used to hate cop shows before CSI! But now when they solve a case I'm like: yeah, cool. It's not so 'special' to see that like in the beginning. Right now the characters are the main reason that I watch the show. CSI really made me catch interest into crimes and stuff, while I never had that before. I maybe even want to do something with it later.

Haha. Nick and Greg are hotties but it took me 2 years to see that! When I first watched CSI, I thought all of them were ugly except for Warrick.

I remember being home and my mom was watching it. I swear I think it was "Butterfied" (right name?) Anyways, I sat down watched, and really liked it.
Then it was Greg that made me a huge dork for it.

The first episode of CSI I saw was the one with the plushie convention when rocky raccon gets runover. I sorta forgot about the show until my cousin in college that was staying with us made me sit down and watch Grave Danger. From then on I was hooked and throughout the summer i watched CSI everyday on SpikeTV. ;D I love the show mostly for the science and forensics aspect, but the characters are themselves very entertaining.

Well, it was while the third season was on tv and CSI still aired on saturday, at 10.30 pm. I couldn't sleep, so I went downstairs to my mom saying; Mom, I cannot sleep. And while I said that, I saw the beginning of that CSI-episode, I think it was 'Chasin the bus' or something like that, so I asked: Mom, what are you watching? She answered; Well, I'm watching CSI. I watch it every week when you and your brother are in bed. You said you couldn't sleep? Hmm. C'mon, sit down. Maybe you'll like it. I looked at it, liked it, watched it, and since then, loved it. Since then, my friends call me CSI-addict. But I prefer to be called Ilse anyway ;D So that's how I got hooked onto CSI. And now one of my best friends, Arianne, loves CSI too, 'cause I couldn't stop talking about CSI, and she said; Okay, I'll watch it sometimes. So she did. And she loved it. Now she watches it too.
And I like CSI:Miami very much. I was watching CSI once, and they said something about CSI:Miami, plus I saw the cross-over epi once, so I looked it that tuesday. At least, I tried, but I didn't like it. Next week, I tried again, and since then I luuuuv CSI:Miami.
About CSI:NY, that's a quite funny story. I saw the Miami/NY cross-over once, and then I saw CSI, where they had a thing where you could win tickets for the CSI:NY preview. I didn't ask my mom to SMS, 'cause I knew we would never win. The saturday before they would decide who would get those tickets, we saw the commercial about that contest again, and my mom said: I'll try it once. So she did. Next day we got a SMS that we had won two tickets! So that monday we dumped my bro at my dad's place, and me and my mom went to Almere, where the preview was. So I saw it. Two weeks later the series was on the telly. And since then I watched it. I still consider myself of being very lucky to get those tickets.

Yeah, it was definitely my friend obsessed with Grissom that got me hooked. She went on and on about him and I watched and was like, "yeah, well he's ok." Now, well... lol
