Chapter One: Mom, I need to push!
Catherine runs all the way for the nurse desk to Lindsey hospital room and through the door. Lindsey looks at her mom as she runs over to her side. Catherine takes Lindsey right hand since Kiven is holding her left hand. Katie, (Kiven sister) take a picture of Catherine holding Lindsey hand.

Catherine: Linds, has Dr. Moonstar been into see you yet?
Lindsey: Yeah she said I was five cementers dilated and I have five more to go!
Catherine: ( Lindsey having a contraction.) How long ago did Dr. Moonstar tell you this?
Kiven: She just left the room two minutes before you get here.
Lindsey: Mom, It feels like one of the baby heads is between my legs.
Catherine: Kiven, can you go found a nurse?
Kiven: Sure

Kiven walks out of the room and over to the nurse station he gets a nurse who goes with Kevin to Lindsey room and the nurse check Lindsey then runs back out of the room to get Dr. Moonstar. By the time the nurse and the doctor walk into the room Lindsey is trying really hard not to push, but cannot hold it any longer. Dr. Moonstar takes a set on the stool at the end of Lindsey bed and check to see if it time for Lindsey to delivery the babies.

Dr. Moonstar: Ok Lindsey, I want you to give me a big push. The first baby is coming.

Lindsey bears down, After five big pushes, she hears a baby crying. Then Dr. Moonstar holds up the baby to show then all that the first baby born is a boy. Kiven then cut the umbilical cord. He then put their son in Lindsey arms, at the sometime Lindsey water breaks for a second time. The nurse takes the baby boy and goes to get him clean up and do an Apgar test. Lindsey starts pushes again and a minute later she gave birth to a daughter and two minutes later her second daughter is born.

Lindsey: Dr. Moonstar are the babies healthy and do they need to be in the NICU since they were born three weeks early?
Dr. Moonstar: All three babies are health and strong and do not have to spend any time in the NICU.
Kiven and Lindsey: Thanks.
Lindsey: Lets name are son Wyatt?
Kevin: I like that name, How about our first born daughter, the one you hold Linds be called Wynona ( first born), and are second daughter be call Wyanet (Beautiful).
Catherine: There all lovely names. I am going to go call, Greg and Sofia, Gil and Sarah, Warrick and Tina, Nick and let them know that you had the babies at 11: 30, 11:33 and 11:36pm on July. 6, 2007.
Lindsey: Ok, Mom.

Catherine hands Wyanet to Katie and then goes into the hallway and starts calling her co-works on her cellphone. Kiven puts Wyatt in his bassinet, he then put Wynona and Wyanet in their bassinet . He then tales a set next to Lindsey on her bed. Katie wave bye as she leave Lindsey hospital room to go home, because she has a early morning college class at Las Vegas University. Catherine walks back into Lindsey room and visit with her daughter, son in-law and three grand babies for another half hour, before leave and go back into work the rest of her shift.

Chapter Two: Find out how hard being a teenage parent is!
It July 12, 2007 and Lindsey been home from the hospital for three days now and has not had a good night sleep since being in the hospital. Because one of the babies always needs her. It also seems like as soon as she has feed Wyatt and gets him back to sleep. Wynona needs feed and as soon as she gets her back to sleep, then Wyanet needs to be feed and once she a sleep, Wyatt wakes up and needs his diaper changes. Then Wynona needs her diaper changes. Then Wyanet needs her diaper changes. Lindsey is exhausted and wants Kiven to help her out with the babies during the day and night, So she could get some sleep. Kevin would love to help Lindsey out, but Catherine will not let him near the babies because he caught a really bad summer head cold and has a fever too. Lindsey gets out of bed on the morning of the twelve and takes Wyatt, Wynona and Wyanet downstairs with the help from her mom. Lindsey and Catherine lay the babies down on a blanket that on the living floor on their backs. Kevin walks up behind Lindsey and wraps his arms around her waist and puts his head on her left shoulder. Lindsey runs her hand through his hair. Then turns around and kiss Kevin on the forehead and feels he still has a low grade fever but does not care she needs a break and her mom has gone upstairs and went to bed and Katie left for class already.

Lindsey: Kevin, I know my mom does not want you around Wyatt, Wynona and Wyanet because of your head cold, but if I do not go upstairs and lay down in bed. I am going to passes out because of exhausted. Can you watch the babies for a few hours so I can get some sleep?
Kevin: Ah-Choo, Sure Linds.
Lindsey: Thanks

Lindsey hands him a tissue and he blows his nose then goes into the downstair bathroom and washes his hands. He walks back into the living room and set down on the floor next to his son and daughters. Lindsey set a box of tissues down next to him them tip toes upstairs to Kevin and her bedroom and she lays down in bed. As soon as her head hits the pillows, she falls asleep. Back downstairs Kevin is tickle Wyatt and Wyanet tiny feet with his left hand and Wynona feet with his right hand, because they started to fuss as soon as Lindsey walk out of the room. The tickle gets them to stop fussy and fall back to sleep. He stops tickling them and watches them sleep and has a cough fit at the sometime. He stands up and walks over to the table behind the couch and grabs a cough drop off the table and puts it in his mouth. He then set back down on the floor and watches the babies sleep for a half hour. Kevin then gets up and goes into the kitchen and make up three bottles and then heads back into the living room and takes a set on the floor right as Wyanet wakes up and starts making her I’m hunger cry. Kevin’s pick her up and feed her a bottle when she finishes the bottle he burps her. Then lay her down just into time to pick up Wynona before she starts crying to let him know she is hunger. He feeds her a bottle then burps her and lay her back down right as Wyatt wakes up. He picks his son up and starts feed him his bottle at the sometime Katie wheels through the front door with Night (labradoodle) walks beside her on the right side. Gray (labradoodle ) who was laying at the top of the stairs comes run downstairs and lays down next to Kiven on the living room floor. Katie Sees her Brother feeding his son and let Night off his leash after she close the door and Night walks over and lays down next to Gray. Katie wheels over and watches her brother feed and then burp his son and then lay him back down on the floor.

Katie: I thought Catherine did not want you holder the babies because you have a bad head cold and fever?
Kevin: She doesn’t but Lindsey is, Coughs, exhausted and needs to get some sleep or she was going to pass out, so she asks me to watch our son and daughters since Catherine had, Ah-Choo, went to bed already.
Katie: Ok, you want me to take over so you can get some rest?
Kiven: No, I’m Ah-Choo, fine, but if you want to help me you can.


Katie lifts herself out of her wheelchair and onto the couch then lowers herself onto the floor as Kiven blowing his nose. Kiven then goes and gets two girl diapers and one boy diaper and the wipes and set them on the ground. Katie takes the shorts of her nieces and nephew and unbuttons the onesies and Kevin changes the diapers. Once they diapers are changes Katie rebutton the onesies and puts the shorts back on her nieces and nephew. Kevin gets up and throw the diapers into the diaper genie he then goes into the bathroom and washes his hands. He goes back downstairs and he lays down on the couch. He set the main baby monitor on the table behind the couch the hands the portable one to Katie, who has got back into her wheelchair.

Katie: You want me to take this with me into my bedroom?
Kiven: Yeah, just in case I ended up falling asleep and I don’t hear the babies crying, you can come check on them.
Katie: Sure Kiven.
Kiven: (Yawns) Thanks Sis.

Katie wheels into her downstairs bedroom and starts her homework Kevin tries to stay awaken and watches his son and daughter sleeping but he can’t keep his eyes open lay on the couch so he gets off the couch and lays down on the floor by his son and daughter, but he still ends up falling asleep though.

Chapter Three: I Wish Kevin would have stay home from work and that my mom did not get call into work four hours ago!
Four hours later Lindsey walks downstairs and sees Kiven is walking back and fourth with Wyatt trying to get him to stop crying and his is also talking to him. Lindsey walks up to Kiven and takes Wyatt from him. He smiles at his wife Lindsey’s and kisses her on the forehead, she kisses him back on his forehead.

Lindsey: Honey you wear you work uniform?
Kiven: I have to go to work. David, my co-work had to take the day off his wife in labor.
Lindsey: But you are sick!
Kiven: I know that Linds, but I fix cars. It’s not like I work at a fast food place.
Lindsey: All right, but do not push yourself too hard and remember to drink lots of water.
Kiven: Ah-Choo, I will Linds.

Kiven grabs a tissue and blows his nose as he walks out the door and gets into his car and leaves for work. Lindsey set down on the couch with Wyatt . She wishes that her mom was around to help but there is a major case and she had to go to the crime scene to help collect evidence . Lindsey takes Wyatt with her into the Kitchen and fix herself something to eat. Three and half hour early that someday. Catherine walks up to the door of the build where the crime happened at along side Warrick, Greg, Nick and Grissom. They all stare up at the sign on the front of the build that says Cat Gymnastics Center. It had only been four days since they close the Sage Thyme case rule it was an accident, but it looks like Sage parent were pushing her after all. The CSI open the doors and walk into the gymnastics center. The first thing they see is all the elite gymnastic standing along the wall staring at Sage laying on the mats by the balance beam, the EMT are still work on Sage. Sofia walks up to them holding her stomach.

Gil: What happened?
Sofia: Sage, was practice her beam routine. She was doing a one arm back walkover. When she fell head first onto the beam and then passed out, which cause her to fall onto the floor.
Greg: (Sniffling) Why was she training with a break arm?
Sofia: Her teammate Paige said that her mom drag Sage into practice and they were fight about the fact Sage did not want to train, but in the end her mom win and Sage join the rest of her teammates in warm up and training the events.
Gil: Great, we should talk to her teammates about if they every seen Sage parents making her train when she was too sick or injury.
EMT: Do you have a CSI meet us at the hospital?
Gil: Yeah, Sarah Sidle-Grissom met you there.
EMT: OK, This sports is supposed to be fun and safe, why do parents have to push their kids to train when they are injury or sick?
Catherine: Because some parents think that they can live their dreams through their kids.

The EMT push Sage out to the ambulance and takes her to the ST. Mary ER. The CSI starts to process the crime scene. Sofia start talking to coach Rice.

Chapter Four: Sage Thyme case part two
Catherine is in the girl’s locker room and is looking through Sage locker for anything that could help them out. She sees two notebooks set on the top shelf, she reaches in and takes the notebooks off the shelf, she open the first notebook up she found out its Sage diary old diary. She puts it in an evidence bag then open the next notebook up and finds it her current diary. Catherine is shock when she read the first entry for June30, 2007, which is on the first page.
Dear Diary,
I have been having pain in my left arm since the beginning of January 2007, I keep asks my parents to take me to have a x-ray done but they will not take me, But after fell off the bars today I started have shape pain on the left side of my neck so coach Rice took me to the ER and the doctor take a x-ray of my neck and left arm and now I have to go have a MRI done tomorrow morning before practice. I have to go now, but I will write more tomorrow.
Lave Sage

Catherine close the diary and puts it into an evidence bag then starts going through the locker again. The next thing she finds is a doctor note that says that he advises that Sage stops train till the four inch stress fractures in her left arm and neck heal, because if she does not stop trains she could break both her arm and neck. Catherine grabs another evidence bag and puts the doctor note into the bag, Sofia walks into the locker room and over to Catherine.

Sofia: Have you find anything that could help us find out way Sage was still training?
Catherine: Yeah, I think so. I found her old diary and current diary along with a doctor note that advise her to stop training till her stress fractures heal.
Sofia: I take that the coach never saw the note?
Catherine: By the looks of it no!
Sofia: Ok, I will let you get back to looking through Sage’s locker.
Catherine: Ok

Sofia walks out of the locker room and Catherine gets back to work, but no soon then she had started working Nick walks up behind her and puts his arms around Catherine waists and kisses her ear.

Catherine: Nick, we are working a scene!
Nick: I know Cath, but I could not help it, I miss you the last few days.
Catherine: I know, but I had to help Linds with the babies Kevin has a really bad summer head cold.
Nick: I understand that Cath, but I could have come over to your house and help you and Lindsey out.
Catherine: You want to come over after will get off work in the morning and help me watch Wyatt, Wynona and Wyanet. Lindsey would love that, it would be a big help because she has a dentist appointment and she really did not want to take Wyatt, Wynona and Wyanet with her?
Nick: Sure I will come over and help you watches your grandson and granddaughters.
Catherine: You should get back to work before Grissom comes looking for you.
Nick: All right Cath, I will go back to working the scene!

Nick Kisses Catherine on the lips then walks out of the locker room and Catherine gets back to work.

Chapter Five: Catherine and Nick big decision !
Catherine, Warrick, Greg, Nick and Grissom have been back at the lab for three and half hours now. Sarah has been back at the lab for two hours. Sarah and Catherine are working in the evidence room. Catherine is reading Sage’s new diary and Sarah’s is reading Sage’s old diary. Both of the ladies CSI is taken notes on anything they find in the diary that could help then in the case. Sarah comes across a good entry.

2-14-2007
Dear Diary,
I waken up gasp for air at one o’clock in the morning and I had only want to sleep at mid night. I set up in bed to see if that would help, but it does not help at all. I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom and look into the mirror to see that I was as white as a ghost. So I take my temperature and it was a 103.9 for the fifth day in a row. I went back to my bedroom and lay down, but I had only fallen to sleep when my alarm clock start buzzes at me to get up for training at 3:40 a.m.. I turn the alarm off and roll back over. I had only been a sleep for three minutes when my mom’s comes into my bedroom and pull my bedspread off of me. I grab the bedspread back and lay back over me, because I had the chills and was ache all over. This is the conversation that fellow between my mom and I.

Mrs. Thyme: Sage, you were supposed to be up three and half minutes ago. Get out of bed and get ready for gymnastics practices, you know you get to be there and ready to practice at 4:30a.m. Sage: Coughs, I have a fever of 103.9 and I’m ache all over. I also have the chills, sore throat, water eyes, headache, Ah-Choo, and my nose is all congested.
Mrs. Thyme: I do not care how sick you are Sage’s get out of bed and gather up your gymnastics supply and come downstairs to eat some breakfast before I take you to practice Sage.
Sage: Ah-Choo, no I am to tire and I am too cold to come out from under the covers mom!

When I would not get out of bed, she gathers up my gymnastics supply and then my mom, grabs me a leotard that I can wear at Gymnastics practice. My mom then drags me out of bed and out of the house to the car. She pushes me into the front seat and then she throws me a breakfast bar to eat on the way to Cat Gymnastics Center, but I was not able to eat it because my throat hurt too much. By the time we get to Cat Gymnastic Center I had fallen to sleep. My mom wakes me up and drags me into the build when I refuse to get out of the car. She made me practices even after I passes out walking to the locker room. The morning practices went badly, I kept having to stop half way through every one of my routines, so I could catch my breath and get over been dizzy. By the time practice ended at 8:30 a.m. I felt awful, so I take some Tylenol cold and flu. Caitlin Ranch, say she would drop me off at home on the way to school, but I told her that I would just go to school. I had only been at school an hour when I pass out and my math teacher sent me to the nurse of cause the nurse call my mom and dad but neither one of them would come pick me up from school. They tell the nurse to sent me back to class. But I did not go back to class I walk home and went right up to my bedroom and went to bed. Till my dad drag me out of bed and made go to the evening gymnastics practice. I was training uneven bar first and when pass out on my first release move up to the high bar and fall flat on my face. My coach rushes me to the hospital. After I was released from the hospital my coach taken me home and I got yelled at for not get back up and finish my uneven bar routine. I have to go I hear my mom coming.

Sarah looks up and then over at Catherine she can’t believe what she has just read. She pushes the diary towards Catherine, she looks up at Sarah and sees tears running down her face.

Sarah: Cath you need to read the entry for 2-14-2007, It will help prove her mom and Dad was push her too hard.
Catherine: (Takes the diary from Sarah.) All right.

Catherine’s start read the diary entry for 2-14-2007 and is shock a parent could do something like that. A mom and dad are supposed to take care of the daughter or son when they are that sick, not make them go to school or practices the sport they play. By the time she finishes reading the entry she is crying to. As she passes the diary back to Sarah Nick comes into the room and puts his arm around Catherine and kisses her cheek. Catherine turns around and kisses Nick on the lips.

Nick: If you want to take a shower and get a few hours sleep before taken Lindsey to her dentist appointment we need to leave now!
Sarah: Go head Catherine, I can finishes looking through both of Sage’s diaries on my own.
Catherine: But don’t you have to go home to feed Jorja and Jadon, since you are breastfeed?
Sarah: Helen is bringing Jorja and Jadon to the lab, so Gil can see them to.
Catherine: Ok, Thanks Sarah.
Sarah: Beside with the notes that I got from talk to Sage last night and the entry from the diaries. It looks like we have a good case against this girl mom and dad.
Catherine: Ok, Call and let Nick and I know how the case ends?
Sarah: I will.

Catherine stands up and takes her gloves off . She then takes Nick right hand in her left hand and the two of them head to the locker room to clock out. Once the two of them have clocked out Catherine gets her purse out of her locker then the two of them head out to Nick suv since he picks up Catherine for work the night before, so Lindsey would have her suv at the house incase she needs it. Catherine watching Nick as he drives to her house and knows he is thinking about something. She has an idea of what he is thinking about, she can see it in his eyes every time he is holding Wyatt, Wynona, Wyanet, Jorja or Jadon. It’s the look that says I wonder when I will have children of my own. Because I have, been thinking about having children myself. I always say I want to have more then one children, But I am forty- eight, going on forty- nine will I be able to get pregnant and carry a pregnancy to term?

Catherine: Nick’s sweetie, what are you thinking about?
Nick: Catherine, what I am thinking about is a lot to ask of you at this time.
Catherine: You will not know my answer to you ask me!
Nick: Cath, I want to have kid or maybe a couple kids and I want it to be with you. It does not have to be a biological children the two of us could adopt a baby or a toddler.
Catherine: I would love to have a children with you Nick, I can’t promise you I be able to get pregnant, I am forty-eight going on forty- nine. But let tries and have a biological child first.
Nick: I love you Cath and thanks.


Nick pulls his suv into the left side of the drive way at Catherine houses and puts it into park . He then turns it off and the two of them run inside the house and upstairs to her bedroom. Nick closes Catherine’s bedroom door. Catherine then pulls him onto her bed and unbuttons his shirt and takes it off. He then unbuttons her blouse and takes it off. Then they start kisses eachother and their have sex with eachother. Afterwards Catherine gets out of bed and goes into her bathroom to take a shower Nick lays in Catherine bed and has a big smile on his face. Just then his cellphone starts ringing, he looks around and finds his pants laying on the other side of the room. He stands up and wraps the unfitted sheet around his waist and goes and unhooks his cellphone from his pants and flips it open to take the call.

Nick: Stokes specking
Sarah: Hi Nick, it Sarah. I am just calling to let you and Catherine know that the Sage Thyme case has been closed.
Nick: So were the girls parents at fault?
Sarah: Yeah, They have been charges with child endangerment and for children abuse.
Nick: Sage has been removed from they house right?
Sarah: Yeah, she is staying with her teammate Paige and her family.
Nick: Thanks, I let Catherine know.

Nick hangs up his cellphone and at the sometime Catherine walks out of the bathroom with a towel warped around her body and over to him. She takes a set next to him on the edge of the bed.

Catherine: Let me know what?
Nick: Sage parents have been charges with child endangerment and children abuse. And Sage is staying with her teammate Paige and her family.
Catherine: Good, Let go get dress and go see my granddaughter’s and grandson.
Nick: Sure.

They both get dress and then go downstairs to the living room and play with the babies.

Chapter Six: Multitasking Nick!
Catherine and Nick are setting on the couch and Nick has his arms wrap around Catherine when Lindsey comes downstairs carrying both of her daughters and Kevin comes downstairs holding his son and the two of them walk over to the couch. Nick unwraps his arms form around catherine and Kiven hands his Son to Nick and Wyatt smiles at him.

Kiven: Is Nick going to stay and watch the babies when you take Lindsey to have her wisdom tooth out or do I need to call work and tell them I can’t make in?
Nick: I am going to stay and watch the babies.
Lindsey and Kiven: Thanks.
Nick: How are you feeling Kiven?
Kiven: Better, I need to leave for work now.

Kiven kiss Lindsey good bye and Lindsey’s kisses him back then he leaves for work. Lindsey hands her mom her granddaughters and the two girls smile at their grandmother. Lindsey then set down in the big comfortable chair that next to the couch and watches her mom and Nick play with her son and daughters. Nick looks over at Lindsey and can tell she is thinking about something.

Nick: Linds, what up?
Lindsey: Not much, But you and my mom were loud enough in her bedroom. Kiven and I were able to hear the two of you, as we were giving our son and daughters their baths!
Catherine: Nick, we were not that loud, were we?
Nick: Yeah, we were pretty loud Cath.
Catherine: Maybe next time we make love we should do it your house Nick!
Nick: That fine Cath.
Lindsey: I am going to go get ready for my dentists appointment.
Catherine: Ok, Sweetie.

Lindsey’s stands up and heads back upstairs to Kiven and her bedroom and changes into a pair of jean shorts and a tank top. She then goes into the bathroom to brush her tooth and comb her hair. Catherine looks over at Nick and he knows that she needs to finish getting ready to take Lindsey to the dentist. Nick takes Wynona form her and Catherine put Wyanet into her baby bouncer. She then puts Wyanet into her baby bouncer. Nick then puts Wyatt into his baby bouncer.

Catherine: Nick can you make Lindsey some jell-O and pudding while we are at the dentists office?
Nick: Sure, Cath.

Catherine help Nick carries the babies in they baby bouncers into the kitchen and set the bouncer on top of the table, so that Nick will be able to keep an eye on the triples while he is making the Jell-o and pudding. Lindsey comes walking downstairs and head over to her babies and plays with them for a few minutes then Catherine and her leaves the house and Nick start to make the jell-o.

Chapter Seven: The beginning of the problems in become a mother for a second time!
It’s the beginning of August and Nick is setting in the break room of the crime lab with Greg, Warrick and Gil because it’s a slow night and there has not been a case so far that evening.

Warrick: So, where Sarah at tonight Gil?
Gil: She off, till next week.
Warrick: What But Tina due on Friday, she has already started to drop too. She could go into lab at anytime.
Gil: Sarah’s is only a phone call away, Warrick calm down.
Nick: Has anyone seen Catherine tonight?
Greg: No, she has not come into work yet!
Nick: That not like Cath, Gil has Catherine called you to let you know way she is not here?
Gil: No, I have not heard from Catherine today. I did see Lindsey and Kevin when they were taking Wyatt, Wyanet, Wynona for a walk and I ask Lindsey how Catherine was feeling since she left work after only a few hours of her shift last night.
Nick: What did Lindsey say?
Gil: That she was feeling fine, she was really tired last night is all.
Nick: I am going to call Catherine and see where she is!
Gil: Ok, Nick.

Nick stands up and walks out of the break room and to the locker room. He close the door to the Locker room once inside and set down on the bench and takes his cellphone off his hip and hit the speed dial button for Cath. Meanwhile Catherine is setting on the end of her bed crying, when her cellphone starts ringing. She flips it open and then close really fast. I did not want to talk to anyone, not even Nick. I know he has to be worry about me after tell him I was pregnant then start to cramps so bad that I had to have Sofia take me home sick, but I just do not care right know. Just then the house phone start ringing. She hears Lindsey answers it and knows she will not come and get her even if it’s for her.

Lindsey: Hi Nick, what do you need, because the babies are crying and I need to go see what they need?
Nick: Can I speak to Catherine?
Lindsey: No, she sleeping right now.
Nick: She supposes to be at work right now.
Lindsey: Let Gil Grissom know she is not making into work tonight because she has really bad cramps.
Nick: Ok, But I still want to talk with her, can you go wake her up for me Linds?
Lindsey: No, Nick, my mom does not want to be bother right now.
Nick: All right, let her know I call when she gets up and let her know that I hope she feels better soon.
Lindsey: I will Nick.

Nick, hang up from talking to Lindsey, but talking with her only made him get more worry about Catherine. He tries Catherine cellphone again and hopes that she will answer her cellphone this time. When her cellphone starts ringing she picks her cellphone up and looks at the phone number of who is calling her. She sees its Nick and knows that she is going to have to take this call and let him know what wrong. She flips her cellphone open and puts it up to her ear.

Catherine:( Sniffling) What do you want Nick?
Nick: To see why you are not at work. Also to see if you are feeling any better tonight after leave the crime scene the two of us were working together last night, because you were feeling sick and could not stops cramping?
Catherine: I am feeling a little better.
Nick: Catherine, you was having a miscarried last night tell me the truth?
Catherine: Yes
Nick: Are you all right or do you need to talk about it with me in person or do you need me to take you to see the doctor in the morning to make sure it was a complete miscarried?
Catherine: I am all ready and I saw my obgyn this afternoon and I am fine and we will be able to try again in six weeks.
Nick: Cath, Take as much time as you need to. I am not going to rush you about this, Miscarried a baby is a hard thing to go through.
Catherine: Thanks, but how would you know that miscarried a baby is a hard thing to go through.
Nick: My old sister miscarried during her first pregnancy after getting into a car crush.
Catherine: Ok, Then you know how emotion it’s for me right now?
Nick: Yeah, and I am here if you need anything at all, just call me.
Catherine: Thanks, I just want to be by myself tonight. Can you tell Gil that I am under the weather tonight and also that I am not going to make it into work tonight shift?
Nick: Sure honey.
Catherine: Thanks, can you swing by at the end of shift and bring me a couple bags of dove chocolate?
Nick: Yeah I will Cath, Bye for now.
Catherine: By baby.

Nick and Catherine hang up their cellphone, Catherine puts her on vibrated and set it on the nightstand. She then lay down on her bed and gets under the covers. She then cries herself to sleep. Nick clips his cellphone back onto his hip and then puts his head between his knees and takes a few deep breaths before get up and head back into the break room. Meanwhile, Sofia and Jim walk into the break room and look at Greg, Warrick and Gil with the look that say they have a major case that has just come in.

Gil: What Up?
Jim: A 420 (homicide) at the Mirage, we are going to need the whole night shift on this case.
Gil: ( Nick walks back into the break room.) All right I will call Sarah and Catherine and let them know they need to come into work.
Nick: No, Gil. Do not call Catherine she is feeling very under the weather tonight and is not up to working.
Gil: Brass says we need the whole team Nick!
Sofia: ( Gives Nick and look that say I know that Catherine had a miscarried last night.) Gil, we can handle the scene without Catherine if she not feeling good she should stay at home in bed and rest.
Gil: Fine, I will meet the five of you at the scene, I am going to my office and call Sarah and let her know she needs to come into work.
Sofia: Ok, But don’t force Sarah to come into work, since only been twenty-six days since having the twins and Sarah’s hardly had anytime off to be with them.
Gil: Neither have I and they are my son and daughter too.
Jim: We need to get to the crime scene now.

Greg, Warrick, Nick, Jim and Sofia head to the parking lot. The csi get into a crime lab suv and Sofia and Jim get into they cars and head to the scene. Gil is setting in his office and he is waiting for his wife to pick up her cellphone. Meanwhile, Catherine is crying in her sleep and screaming too. Lindsey runs into her mom bedroom and wakes her up and give her a big hug.

Lindsey: It’s all right mom. It was just a nightmare and everything is all right.
Catherine: (Crying) Lindsey, It was not just a nightmare I was dream about why I had to come home last night!
Lindsey: You were not feeling good is all.
Catherine: I was having a miscarries last night Linds.
Lindsey: I am so sorry mom, did you let Nick, know about it yet?
Catherine: Yeah, he and Sofia both know.
Lindsey: Did you need anything?
Catherine: Just stay with me till I fall back to sleep.
Lindsey: Sure mom.

Lindsey sets on her mom bed and hands her right-hand and sing to her till she falls asleep. Then she leaves her mom bedroom and goes into her bedroom and watches Kevin play with their son and daughters.

Chapter Eight: Leave me alone!
Its August 5, 2007, Catherine is setting in her office going through the cases assignments for the night and chooses whom she wants to put on each case. She has to keep in mind that Gil and Sarah deiced to leave for Germany early, so they can go to the Berlin Zoo and see the baby polar bear and do some other sight seeing with Helen, Jorja and Jandon before they heading to Stuttgart to watch Caitlin compete in the 2007 world gymnastics championships. Plus remember that Warrick wife Tina is due to have their twin on the six of this month, so he could have to leave work to go take Tina to the hospital. She leans back in her chair and places her hands on her stomach, she then closes her eyes. Not care that Greg, Nick and Warrick are waiting for her in the break to get their cases assignment. After a few minutes she hears all three guys outside her office and she then hears both Warrick and Greg bang on her office door. Did I remember to lock the door? She gets her answers five second later when Warrick and Greg comes run into her office and Nick slower walk in behind them.

Warrick: Cath, we have been waiting for our assignments now for ten minutes, what is taking you so long?
Catherine: I will give you the assignments when I am ready to Brown! Now all three of you get out of my office!

Catherine stands up and shoos the guys out of her office and slam the door shut and then locks the door. She then leans up against the door and slides down into a setting position on the floor. She brings her knees up to her chest then she sets her head on her knees and starts to cry. I hate the way I feel right now! God I wanting that baby so much, way did I miscarry? She hears someone bang on her office door again and can tell by the sound that its Eckile. She stands up wipe tears from her face and unlocks the door and lets him into her office. As Eckile walk into Catherine office she walks back behind her desk and takes a seat in her desk chair.

Eckile: Catherine, When you are the acting supervises you need to be in the break room to give the csi under you their assignments. Not setting in your office crying that what you do at home on your own time!
Catherine: I know how to do mine job Eckile, So don’t tell me what to do, now get out of my office so that Greg, Warrick and Nick can come in here and get their assignments for tonight shift!

Eckile walks out of Catherine office and the guys walk into her office. Nick looks over at Catherine who setting in her desk chair and can tell she is not ready to be back at work.

Catherine: Warrick your working a 401A (Hit and Run) with Greg. The hit and run happened at Sahara Avenue in front of Convention Center Drive . Nick’s you are working a 418 (Missing Person) at 1545 Boulder.
Greg: And what case are you work catherine?
Catherine: I’m not work any case tonight.
Warrick: What, you not stay in the lab are you?
Catherine: Yeah, I am behind in my cases paper work and I am not feeling up to work a scene tonight.
Greg: Catherine, If anyone should get to start in the lab, its Warrick his wife is due to have the babies at any moment!
Catherine: I give the assignment out now get out of my office and leave me alone!

Warrick and Greg walk out of Catherine office right away, but Nick stands behind and walk over to Catherine and gives her a hug and whisper into her right ear.

Nick: Go, home Catherine’s I will be the acting head tonight.
Catherine: Thanks I am going to take you up and the offer. I am just not up to being around anyone right now.

Nick walks to the locker room with Catherine and gets his kit out of his locker as she is clocking out. He then walks out to the parking lot with her and sees her off, before get into one off the suv and head to his crime scene.

Chapter Nine: All night shifts csi on deck!
It’s 10:30pm on August 7, 2007 when Catherine pulls here suv up behind Sofia and Jim’s cars and turns her suv off. She then walks over to the crime scene were the 401A (Hit and Run) and the 418 (Missing Person) happened. She sees Nick, Greg and Warrick are already there and talk to Jim and Sofia. Nick sees Catherine walks up to the yellow crime scene tape. He walks over to the tape and holds the tape up for her. She walks under the tape and looks at him. Nick puts her left arm around Catherine waist and the two of them walk over to Warrick, Greg, Sofia and Jim. Warrick looks over at Catherine and smile at her. He then waves at her with his cast right wrist, which make Catherine smile then to start laughing, for the first time since she had the miscarriages.

Catherine: How Tina and your son and daughter doing Warrick?
Warrick: Really good, the three get to come home from the hospital tomorrow evening.
Catherine: That great Warrick, you will have to show me some pictures when we get back to the lab.
Warrick: Sure Cath.
Sofia: You four do have a crime scene to process and misses twin girls’ that are only five weeks old to find.
Catherine: Sorry, it just the first time I seeing Warrick since the fifth.
Sofia: Catherine, there nothing to be sorry for I am just mood tonight.
Greg: I that note Jim and Sofia’s what happed here?
Jim: According to Miss. Lee, the driver of the car that was hit and the mother of the babies. Two black car hit her on in the front and one in the back. Then and three black car pulled up beside her and four guys get out and all four of them was wear gloves. One of them open her door and knock her out. When she come to her five- week, old daughters were gone.
Catherine: Where is Miss. Lee, right now?
Sofia: She at St Anne hospital getting cheek out, Greg I want you to come with me to collect trace evidences off of Miss. Lee at the hospital and take pictures of any bruise.
Greg: Ok
Jim: Warrick, Catherine and Nick you can get to work take pictures of the scene and process it.
Warrick: I will take the pictures!
Nick and Catherine: (At the sometime.) That fine Warrick.

Greg, Warrick and Nick walk over to the crime lab suv that the guys came to the scene in and get their kit and cameras. Catherine walks over to her suv and grabs her kit and camera out. After Greg has grabbed his camera and kit he walks over to Sofia’s car and puts them in the back seat and he then gets into the passenger seat. Then Sofia and Greg leave the crime scenes and head to the hospital. Warrick gets to work right away on take photos of the scene. Nick and Catherine start working on the area that Warrick has take photos of. After he taking photos of the scene around the car. He moves onto take photos of the outsides of Miss. Lee’s sliver car. After he took pictures of the whole car, he open the back door up on the passenger side of the car and took pictures of the baby blanket that have been threw onto the back of the seat.

Warrick: Catherine there is two baby blanket laying on the seat in front of the car seats, there could of the babies sense on them!
Catherine: Good bag them for the sense dogs.
Warrick: Ok, Cath!
Nick: I have find some fingerprints on the outsides of the car, but since Jim says the four guys were wearing gloves the prints are must likely Miss. Lee fingerprints.
Catherine: We will know for sure when the three of us get back to the lab and run the prints through AFIS. I have found black paint transfer on both the front bumper and back bumper.
Nick: Confirms what Miss. Lee said that a black car hit her front and the back of her car.
Catherine: Brass call and have the car tow to the csi garage.
Brass: On it now.

Warrick, Nick and Catherine gather up the evidence they found and takes the evidence back to the lab. Brass stays with the car till the tow truck show up.

Chapter Ten: Mom I am scary
Nick and Greg are going through the evidence that they bring back from the crime scene in the evidenced room. Meanwhile, Catherine is setting in the break room with Warrick and he is showing her pictures of his son and his daughter. The two of them are waiting for the tow truck to bring in the car from the hit and run that Nick, Greg, She and Warrick are working. Warrick is watching the expression on Catherine face and notice tears fall down her cheek as see looks at the pictures.

Warrick: Cath is everything ok, because you are crying?
Catherine: Yeah, I misses have a baby of my own.
Warrick: You have your grandson and granddaughters live at your house.
Catherine: Yeah, but it not the same and I always want to have more then one children.
Warrick: Have you talk to Nick and tell him your feeling about wanting to have other children, because I know that he wants to have children?
Catherine: Yeah we are trying, but no luck so far.
Warrick: Give it time.

Warrick has just start to put the pictures away when Eckile walks into the break room and over to Catherine and Warrick. Eckile tosses a file down in front of Catherine and Warrick. The two CSI look up at him. Warrick open the file and sees the codes that are lists on the front page.412B (ABANDONED MOTOR VEHICLE), 411 (STOLEN MOTOR VEHICLE), 421 (SICK OR INJURED PERSON), 427 (KIDNAP), 426 (RAPE) 426A (STATUTORY RAPE) and 426Z (ATTEMPT RAPE).

Catherine: Eckile does this case relation to the case from early tonight?
Eckile: As of right now it is a separate case, but it looks like it could be relation tonight early case. I need the two of you to meet Sofia at the corner of Fremount and Flamingo Road.
Warrick: Ok, we head out to the scene after getting both our kits.

Eckile walks out of the break room as Warrick and Catherine are standing up. The two CSI go to the locker room and grab they kits. Then the two of them head out to one of the crime lab suv and Catherine drives to the crime scene. When Catherine pulls the suv up behind Sofia’s car and has turn the suv off. Sofia walks over to the suv and open up Warrick door. She steps back and Warrick gets out of the suv and so does Catherine. The two of them get their kits out of the suv then fellow Sofia over to the car. When they get over to the car Catherine and Warrick sees two small infants in the car seats and two young girls along with two teenage girls. One of the girls looks about six years old and the other one look to be around ten. The two teenage girls look like they are around fifteen and sixteen years’ old.

Catherine: Who is taking the girl to the hospital to get check out and has a csi been sent to meet them they to collect the evidence that could have been left on them?
Sofia: Nick is coming here to help Warrick, I need you to help me take the girl to the hospital Catherine and to collect the evidence.
Catherine: Ok.

The teenage girls and the ten year rides in the back seat of Sofia car and the infants and the six year old rides in the back seat of the suv with Catherine. As Catherine drive the girls to the hospital she keep looking up at the review mirror and sees the six year old girl rocking back in fourth in the sets crying.

Sam: (Crying and yelling) I’m scary and I want my mom!
Catherine: I know Sam and one of my co-worker is out right now looking for your mom!
Sam: The man hurt me Catherine
Catherine: How did he hurt you?
Sam: He touches my privity area and he force himself on me.
Catherine: Did he touch the babies that way?
Sam: Yeah

Catherine pulls the Suv into the hospital parking lot and parks next to Sofia and then the eight of them all head into the ER together.

Chapter Eleven: Evidence never lies!
When Miss. Lee sees the Teenage, ten, six years old girl walking into the hospital, along with Sofia and Catherine carrying the two girls’ infants she runs over to the CSI and the detective. The six year runs over to the teenage girl and grabs onto her leg.

Mia: (seventeen year old (teenage)) It alright Sam
Sam: Mommy way was I not able to ride in the car with you?
Mia: Because, They need you to ride with Infants to keep an eye on them, why Mrs. Willows, was drive to the hospital.
Sofia: Mia, so Sam is your daughter and the little girl you were talk about if only her and you would if only stay home instead of going out?
Mia: Yeah
Miss. Lee: Are mine five weeks old daughters’ all right Mrs. Willows?
Catherine: A doctor is going to check all five of the girls out and then I let you know if your daughters are all right?
Miss. Lee: That fine!

The seventeen, ten, six-years old along with Catherine carrying the two infants fellow five nurse back to the ER. Meanwhile, the car has been tow back to the lab and Nick and Warrick is searching the car for any evidence that could help them solve the case. Warrick is using the ALS to look for any evidence of sexual active in the car. He finds evidence of semen and vagina fluid in the passengers’ seat and all over the back set. Warrick get to work and collected swabs of all the semen and
vagina fluid that on the seats. As he swabbing the seats, Nick is dust for finger prints on the dash broad, steering wheel and inside of the doors. Greg has already dust the few prints he founds on the outsides of the car doors and he is running the prints through AFIS. Greg is also running the car register and insurance for through the database. Back out the hospital Catherine and Sofia are pacing outsides the doors of the five exam rooms, as she waits for the film from the pictures of the bruises on all the girls bodies and the SAFE kits. A nurse comes out of exam room one and she hands Catherine a SAFE kit and a roll of film.

Catherine was Kelly Lee, sexual assault?
Nurse Smith: Yes she was Mrs. Willows.
Sofia: Thanks

Just Catherine cellphone starts ringing, she takes it off her hip and looks at the number and sees that it is Greg Sanders cellphone number. She flips her cellphone open and put the phone up to her ear.

Catherine: Willows speck
Greg: Catherine, I run the car register and insurance through the lab databases and Mark Fox from Temperance, MI reported the car stolen from him five months ago.
Catherine: Have you had any luck found finger prints that could help us find her stole the car and possible sexual assaulted theses five girls?
Greg: Yeah, I get a match to a Danny Chess from a finger print I get off the outside of the drives door handle.
Catherine: What he in the Las Vegas databases for Greg?
Greg: For attempting rape and several hit and runs.
Catherine: I have to gt off the phone now Greg’s, because the last four nurses just come out of the other four exams rooms and have the SAFE kits and films for me.
Greg: See you when you get back to the lab.
Catherine: Ok.

Catherine and Sofia rush back to the lab and Sofia take the films to be developed and Catherine takes the SAFE kits to Wendy in the DNA lab. Wendy starts running the DNA from the SAFE kits and compare to the Semen and vagina fluid swabs that Warrick gave her to run and at the sometime Sofia walks into the lab.

Wendy: I have a match the semen in the car and the Semen form the SAFE kits match Danny Chess.
Sofia: Great I put the word out to arrested Danny Chess for a kidnaping and Sexual assault the girls.

Catherine hands to her office and start the paperwork for this case and Sofia head to P.D.

Chapter twelve: Nick big surprise for Catherine
It is around five o’clock in the evening of Saturday, August 18, 2007. Nick takes a ring box out of his khaki pants pocket and the opening the box. He looks at the 1920 style engagement ring that has a round diamond in the center and to triangles shape diamonds on it sides of the round diamond. The close the ring box and puts it back into his pocket. He then gets back to work and set candles onto the dinner room table. Once he has the five long candles put into the candle holds, he goes onto set the rest of the table. He has just finish set up two places at the table for Catherine and him. Nick then goes into the kitchen to checks on the Chicken Enchilada casserole that cooking in the over. He finds that the Chicken Enchilada casserole is done, so he takes out of the over and carries the dish into the dinner room. He set it on a hot pad in the center of the table. He then goes back into the kitchen and takes the chocolate cheesecake out of the refrigerator. Nick then carries the chocolate cheesecake out to the dinner room. Nick’s careful sidle the chocolate cheesecake out of the pie tin and onto the cake plate that on the table. He has just finish putting the pie onto the plate when the door bell starts to ring. Nick walks to the front door, he opens up the door and lets Catherine into his house. Once Nick has close the door Catherine kiss Nick on his lips and the pulls into the dinner room, because she wants to see what smells so good. Catherine stops dead in her tracks when he see that Nick has the light in the dinner room turn off and he has set candles up for a candle lite dinner.

Catherine: I love it Nick and it so sweetie you take the time to do this for me.
Nick: Have a set and I go get the wine and by the way Cath I love the little black dress you are wearing tonight!
Catherine: Thanks Nick.

Catherine takes a set and unfolds the napkin and lays over her lap. Nick walks into the kitchen carrying the bottle of wine he set the bottle down on the table then gets down on one knee and pulls the ring box out of his pocket. He the open the ring box and turns it so Catherine can see the ring.

Nick: Catherine will you merry me?
Catherine: Yes I will Merry you Nick.

Nick takes the ring out of the box and puts it onto Catherine’s ring finger on her left hand. Catherine and Nick then enjoyed the dinner that Nick fixes for them to eat. After they have finish eat they walk into Nick bedroom and make love to eachother.
