This episode really disturbed me, simply because it raises the age old question of whether the media are responsible for the violence in our world today. You hear of films provoking violence as well as games and this is what this episode brought to light. Can games provoke it's players into committing a crime? Personally, I think the seed has to already be planted in a person in order for a game to give them ideas. Anyway, that's not why I'm posting!
I enjoyed the fact that a CSI (in this case, Eric) was caught up in the bank robbery. It's always interesting to see how the characters react when they become part of the crime scene rather than seeing the aftermath. I felt bad for Calleigh when the Agent's fiance turned up, but I don't think she was that interested anyway. But the main point of this post was to find out if anyone saw the extended ending for this episode? I watched it on the CBS site last night and found it incredibly intriguing. If you haven't seen this episode or the ending then look away!
What is Sikes's motive for telling Ryan there is a mole at CSI? Why would a journalist who is always hungry for information and a quote tell on her source? Did I understand it correctly? Sikes told Ryan there is a mole at CSI, someone who everyone knows and trusts, who is feeding the press with inside information? I'm hoping somebody can clear this up for me because the sound quality on the extended ending was pretty poor and I'm thinking I misheard it.
