Did this episode work? It was very different as it was told from the killer's point of view, but I'm unsure about it. Put it this way, I actually really enjoyed it, but it's not a format I'd like to see often. I like having to guess who is the guilty one in each episode.
I did like the fact that it was thought provoking. I'm not justifying murder at all, but seeing it from a killer's point of view really made me think. I felt sympathy, but it was for the wife and the daughter more than the killer. It opened my eyes to the fact that not everything is black and white.
Your thoughts?

Yeah, same here. I wouldn't like to see this format repeated too often cos like you I like solvin the mystery - usually before the guys do lol. But because they don't use it all that often I think it worked well.

I really liked it. I really did feel for the killer, even though emotionally it could have gone a bit deeper. A very good installment.

Fabian, was it the killer you were feeling for? I thought I was feeling the same until I realised, he had a choice. It was actually the Wife and Daughter who got my sympathy because they didn't have that luxury.

Yep, the killer. I know he was unethical, but still... I really loved the wife's part in the whole story too though.

It really provokes thought, doesn't it? We immediately think that a killer has no emotions. We assume they have to be that way in order to take another life, but this episode really did show that those emotions can be projected elsewhere. In this case, it was to his family. It was obvious that he loved his family and he killed in order to protect them, in a funny kind of way. But it is enough to forgive?
