Cause I do! I wouldn't consider myself a huge fan yet, but the first six episodes that I saw were pretty good. I just decided to watch it since it's also a Jerry Bruckheimer crime show, it seemed nice. I love the way the flashbacks are with music from the time the people died. Can't say I'm that enthousiastic about the characters yet, but I guess I'll just have to get used to them. I liked Chris Lassing, but the actor left after three episodes (or was fired, I dunno).

Well.. I wouldn't have created a sub-board for it if I didn't like it I've come to like Cold Case more and more over the 2nd season. Lily Rush is a great character. I also adore her cats. The music is great as well.. I love old music. My favorite episode so far is Mind Hunters. It gueststarred John Billingsley (Dr. Phlox from Star Trek: Enterprise).

I used to watch this show but I always forget when its on. I do remember that I liked the characters alot and the premise is awesome. My cousin keeps talking about it too and we have similiar taste. Maybe I'll check it out again so we could talk about it.

So far I have seen one and a half episode, it's not too bad, but I can't form an opinion until I have seen more, but the fact that it hasn't bored me enough not to bother watching another ep speaks well of it.

I am enjoying this show more and more. There's really high quality when it comes to the cases, and for some reason it's always original. I love the intensity.
So the big questions remains..when will the dvd's be released!!??! No one knows, I think.

Aidoann and I read somewhere that apparently DVD releases are planned, I think it was on Amazon. But they were quite vague on a date, but the fact that DVDs might be released is hopeful.

Yes, it certainly is !
I really like Lily Rush, by the way. For some reason, she seems very real to me.

Cold Case is the only show that I always end with a smile, when the case is closed and we see the killer being hauled away with the flashbacks and stuff and the shots of the Cold Case team as they go off duty for the day. No other show does that to me, the only other show that I feel this strong about is the new Battlestar Galactica series (though I can't always smile at the end due to the grim settings). Unfortunately I have missed the last 2 episodes on tv in the NL (season finale for S1 and season start for S2) I must remember to set the videotimer again, but the time sooo sucks, airing on that one night in the week that I'm out. I watched 3x06 yesterday and Season 3 is still strong, all episodes have been far above average so far. Damnit, I want DVDs. Fabian: I agree, Kathryn Morris does a good job and the writers do a great job as well to have Lily Rush portrayed this real. It reminds me of the characters from Battlestar Galactica where also all effort is made to make them as real as possible. I wish more TV was like that.

Amen to all you said. I know what you are talking about when it comes to feeling satisfied after watching it. In CSI I mostly like two cases at a time, but in Cold Case on big case works really well. Of course the music brings great dimension to the stories, as well as the amazing casting. Both of those factors bring that intensity I talked about. I don't feel like downloading the episodes from season 3, because my tv schedule is busy enough. I'm just fine watching an episode every wednesday, it's a reasonable time for me. Too bad you missed 2x01, because I loved it. 1x23 was pretty normal, it didn't feel like a season finale. But well, missing episodes will only bring you pleasure later on. I also wish tv writing would be more like on Cold Case. I'm gonna change all that (I want to study Writing for performance next year). Well at least in Holland. Drama needs some very good upgrading here. Lily Rush seems so real because there are practically no stereotypes about her. She seems totally average, which for some reason makes it interesting to know more about her. Hard to explain. There was a new gal added to the cast in season 3, right? But she already got fired. Did you like her?

She got fired? I only noticed that she wasn't there in the last ep, but I don't think they mentioned anything about her being fired.

Yeah, I googled on it last night before I went to sleep. She wasn't of much value to be honest, but then again, she didn't have had much time to make herself known and establish herself. But I think that in the end this was a good decision, the Cold Case team needs to be small, to large and you get the CSI effect, with little screentime for certain characters, perhaps multiple cases which make everything confusing. Cold Case should stick with it's succes formula.

Yes, for some reason I can't imagine another woman in the team. Perhaps that was the realness of the characters I talked about. Lily is one of very few women in a men's world, which seems realistic.
I am glad to hear that Cold Case stuck to the same formula. I don't mind what you call the CSI effect on CSI, I like diverse episodes with different amounts of characters screentime. But Cold Case is just good like it is.
