So, case 9 is closed now and case 10 is coming up. What do you all want for the case? Please, do tell!
I do think we should make something that keeps everybody motivated. No offence to anyone, please let that be sure, but most of the people participating in case 9 became somewhat less motivated near the end. Including me. It's not that it wasn't interesting (on the contrary) but somehow, it just got a little... I dunno, near the end. Ah well, it's closed now and on to case 10! Let us hear what you want for case 10!

well, that's kinda the fist anniversary (is that the word I'm looking for? - not quite...) I mean the first round lot - so there should be something extraordinary in it, don't you think?

Maybe something high-profile... like the mayor is assassinated?

Yeah, some sort of high-profile case seems really cool to me - lots of things the CSIs aren't allowed to see, Feds, everything... what about the killing of the mayor, like Brian said, and the main suspect is someone who works for a foreign intelligence service - like the MI5 or anything like that. That makes quite a high-profile case - and wouldn't it be fun to have the press bugging the lab for info?

Or it could have been a terrorist who disagreed with the mayor's policies....

that sounds like a real challenge! Let's make it a woman, than it's a bit more unusual, or a couple?

I gotta warn everybody, though, my responses may be limited. Finals are starting at my university, and then I'm getting evicted. I will ALWAYS have my computer with me, I will just be busy working to earn money to be able to live someplace hahaha. So, I will do my very best, but if my posts seem shorter than usual, this is why.

No worries. Lena, Brian, Daniella, I like the ideas. I shall e-mail some other RPG members who haven't participated in the previous case to see whether they want to participate in this case, okay?

okay, and i like the idea of a couple doing it. and btw, maybe i can do a bit more then being psychologist. because at some cases, there's not much to do for psychologists. i have no idea what's still missing in the team, but if you guys have some ideas...

Hmm. Well, we're quite a bit short on lab techs... I'm the only official one though Brian did handle the gun thingy when needed in cases before (do you still do that, Brian?) and we all do some A/V work and we can always make up lab techs, but we're still a bit short on them. Fingerprints or DNA is not covered yet, and of course we're short on CSIs. We do have a coroner and a detective, so that's okay. You know what? I know quite a few fellow CSI-fans. Perhaps I can ask them to join the RPG. But you can do some fingerprint things for example. Just drop a hint every once in a while that your character is doing a course (my character for example did a course in psycho-analysis) or add it to your character bio. Either way, this makes the character qualified to do this. Or - if your character has done Forensics as a study, then such course is obviously not needed. Your character, what is she officially? A CSI or a Forensic Psychologist? If she's a CSI with a psychology training, then she goes out in the field and investigates with the other CSIs. If she's a Forensic Psychologist, she can do the same as my character did; go with the CSI out in the field with the excuse that the lab is short on CSIs. After all, Sam Noir is a QD lab tech and there's not really that much to do for a QD lab tech... so the same goes for Lilly...

Yeah Brian is more than happy to help out with computers and guns. Just because it's not in his job description any more doesn't mean he completely forgot HOW. Plus, he really wants to help out as much as he can.

Okay that's cool. So left are Fingerprints, DNA, Trace and the things the CSIs can also do on their own...
