Out of those I've only seen Dawn of the Dead and Shaun of the Dead. Dawn kinda sucked, Shaun was great. I love horror comedies.

I always wanted to see Shaun of the Dead but it's not really easy to find around here. Few horror movies are actually scary so I prefer the ones you can laugh at.

okay, so I've never seen BHD. I'm not even too big on war movies. The reason I picked it was because of Carmine. A little unfair I know. I'll even out the votes if you guys want me to.

I've vaguely heard of "Scary Movie", though know nothing about it, and certainly didn't know there were three of them.
I know the original Scooby Doo TV series very well as I watched it avidly as a kid. Great stuff. But I didn't know they'd made a film of it. Is it any good? How is it made? The original was of course old fashioned animation.
Black Hawk Down rings a bell somewhere, though if you had asked me what it was, I wouldn't have known it was a film.
As for 2 fast 2 furious, nope, a complete blank, I've not even vaguely heard of this one...

Scary Movie is a spoof of a lot of other horror/sci-fi/fantasy movies. They've recently expanded to Date Movie, which spoofs romantic comedies.
The Scooby-Doo movie is a children's movie.. a lot of bodily functions and slapstick, with some cheesey CGI.
Blackhawk Down is the best movie ever made. It's not just a war movie, it has so many deeper meanings. I watch it RELIGIOUSLY. Seriously -- Saturday afternoon is BHD time for me. Sometimes Monday afternoons, too, if I don't have to be in uniform for work. Ridley Scott is an amazing director. The film won nine acadamy awards (according to my DVD box), if you judge movies by that.
All in all, it is my absolute favorite movie of all time, and it VERY CLOSELY follows the true story.

I shall have to make a mental note to watch BHD then. War films aren't necessarily my favourite type, but I like pretty much *all* good films. And if it won all those awards, quite a few folks must rate it highly.
Are you in the military then? If so I can understand why a war film in particular might have meaning.

No, I'm not in the military. My family has a military background, but it's irrelevant; It is an excellent movie. Every bit as good as the book by Mark Bowden.
And, if nothing else, you get to see Orlando Bloom tossed out of a helicopter from 40 feet up. As Captain Steele screams, "He fell?! How the HELL did he do THAT?!" Sgt. Eversman: *Shrug*
