I thought it was great. Rather an intriguing episode.

I was a bit bored actually. We simply had too much Catherine drama, why did we need yet another Catherine centered ep? I also wonder why Catherine always gets away with what she does (this time not informing Grissom that she knows the suspect) while Sara almost gets fired over something much much smaller.

I wasn't bored by the Catherine drama. Her character strikes me as the type to get a lot of guy trouble. I haven't seen enough of the seasons to really make a good judgement on it, though.
I do, however, agree on the trouble factor. Catherine gets away with too much.

i hav to agree with Fogeltje. Sara (my fave ) alsmot is fired for yelling at catherine. What catherine did is much worse. She didnt even tell anyone and she knew about it!

This episode was very average. I really don't like the way Catherine is being written these days: a horny CSI that only goes out to bars to pick up men and doesn't care at all about her daughter. The case wasn't very interesting, but the episode was okay. I didn't expect much from it anway, cause I knew it was gonna be Catherine-centered.

I disagree about only going out to bars to pick up guys. If recall correctly at the beginning of the ep she asked Nick and Warrick to go out after their shift. I'm thinking she was lonely. But I don't think she went with the intention, that's unfair to her generally sensible character.

If Catherine was lonely, she could have gone to her daughter. But I thin Cathy hardly even knows her name.

Thats kind of unfair though. I'm sure Catherine loves her daughter and she doesn't get as much alone time as she wishes. Can we really blame her for wanting to get out once in a while? Try looking at it from her POV.

I tried, but I can't understand. Lindsey has been complaining so much ("Are you going out AGAIN?") that it is hardly imaginable that she spent a lot of time with her.

True but maybe Catherine wasn't prepared for the amount of responsibility that comes with it. It's different with Grissom I guess partly because his job is his life so it not a big deal for him to work a double or triple. Where with Catherine, Lindsey used to be her priority but now she's finding it difficult to balance the two.
