She leaned against the wall, producing another kunai and tossing it in the air while watching Miller cry. Miller looked at her with pleading eyes. "P-please! Y-you h-have to b-believe me!"
She chuckled and shook her head. "I don't know what to believe anymore. But I know I can't believe you, no matter how much you beg."
He was shaking in his chair. "What will it take for you to believe me?!"
She smiled quite evilly. "I was thinking along the lines of using you for target practice."
Miller turned paler than before. "N-not that! P-lease not that!"

"Brian already did it, but it could also be that he possibly got an spoofed IP-address back," Katie said. "But I'll try it, if you'd want me to do it."

"Please" Sam answered. "I really suck with computers. I can only check my e-mail, databases and type reports. That's practically all I can do."

"Well this won't take long for me to do," Katie said and she walked to 'her' lab. She typed a certain code in the mail and got it back a few seconds after sending.

Sam looked over Katie's shoulder to see what she'd received. "And? What does it say?"

"I have to request the info at AT&T first," Katie said. "So this could take a few minutes." ((OOC: Dunno if AT&T does internet, I just typed the first name that came to mind ))

"All right" Sam answered. "Uhm... could you just come to see me and Brian when you've got something? I'm curious whether or not Brian thinks Miller lied... I guess he didn't, since the e-mail really bounced..." with that, she walked off back to the interrogation room. She noticed Brian, standing outside of the room. "You sure it's safe to leave him alone with Jade?" Sam asked, smiling. "Listen, I didn't really understand what you meant with the e-mail thing, I'm not that good with computers, so I asked Katie to find it out. The e-mail bounced, that's one thing, and she said something about requesting the info right now. So that's probably a few minutes and then we know where he is, right? Any news here?"

"Safe to leave him with Jade? Probably not. But he really didn't earn any sympathy from me today. But all he has to do is make a few phone calls from prison and the word will get out that we play hardball. Which is a good reputation to have amongst violent criminals -- they know not to play games with us," Brian said darkly. "But if Katie's making a phone call, we should know any minute. Once we track down who Dark Knight is, we can spring into action."

Zora listened as Rhia explained that the killer had ripped an earring from the victim. Standing back while the morgue guys took the body she sighed. Zora had began dusting just before they arrived to take the body and so far she hadn't found anything. "Hmmm..." Zora said. "I think I may have found something." On her knees and bent over Zora was looking under the bed. Reaching into her kit she pulled out some equipment and then began working on something just under the bed. As she lifted the print she sat back up to show Rhia. "I found a bloody palm print." she said.

Sam nodded. "Seems to make sense. Oh, and I had this idea that Burkatt might have been DarkKnight. But then, if he was, we still need to find out where the others are..." she stared in the distance, thinking. Suppose Burkatt was DarkKnight, where could the others hang out? And could they ever find all Shen Jing Bing members? Would the CSIs not be able to catch all of them but treat the others they way they treated Miller, word would get out that they weren't exactly softies. Then Shen Jing Bing would probably consider them a threat and try to get rid of them - the diplomatic way or the hard way? If people would be threatened or bribed, it would at least keep them alive, but if Shen Jing Bing would do to them what the mafia did to Giovanni Falcone - kill them - then it'd become harder and harder as time passes, because people would become scared. Finding all of them could become a case of life and death, but say the people they were after were just a small part of Shen Jing Bing, then this could get very ugly. But the priority now was to find out who DarkKnight was.

Katie walked in. "They wouldn't give me a name, privacy issues and all but I maneged to get an adress: 2344 David McDonald Lane, Brooklyn." She handed it to Sam on a paper.

Sam gazed at the sheet of paper. "Brooklyn? Home of most gangs... I'm surprised it hasn't come to a total gang war then. Anyway. Uhm, I'll search the usual databases for info on that address. For all we know, it could be pretty dangerous there." Without waiting for any answers, she darted off to the closest computer. This was something she was capable of doing. Nothing too technical, just simple searching.

She was enjoying herself. Miller was balled up in a corner farthest from her too scared to move while she kept leaning against the wall with a smile on her face. He knew better than to move, for she proved how fast her reflexes were by throwing a kunai inches from his face every time. He swore one grazed him but didn't bother to say anything. She stood there watching him, barely moving a muscle and barely breathing.
He decided to press his luck with her. "M-miss Tsukuyomi?"
She glared at him. "What do you want this time? If you want out, no go."
"Not that. Are you always this way?"
She snickered. "What kind of question is that? Of course I am. Especially to guys like you."
He gulped and looked towards the door, not wanted to be in the room anymore. Then a thought came to him. "You know, once I tell the rest of the gang, those Dragons and that Shadow Fox are going to regret messing with them."
"How so?"
"Well, they started this whole thing. If anyone tried to say otherwise, the gang wouldn't listen. If those Dragons had stayed away instead of interfering like they did, none of this would have happened."

Sam looked at the results on the computerscreen. The place was seemingly owned by a company, and, what a surprise - that company was James's law firm. Before that, it was owned by one Mercedes Perez, a woman that had died on October 19, 2001 at the respectable age of 82. The street was located in a neighbourhood called Sunset Park. The place had been searched in 2003 because it was suspected "illegal goods" were being traded - but illegal goods was a bit of a broad expression. Nothing had turned up on that search, but that didn't mean there was nothing being traded there - just not at that very moment. Also, in 2004 there'd been a major shoot-out on David McDonaldlane, but both press and police had suspected it was just an ordinary fight that had developed into an out-of-control situation. Sam printed the results and walked back to Brian and Katie. "Here's what I've found: the place is being owned by Costero's law firm, it's been searched in 2003 on the suspicion of the trading of illegal goods and there was a shoot-out in the street in 2004, which was just an out-of-control fight. Nothing that would get people to think it's being used for illegal purposes, but that's what I'd expected. They're not stupid. You never know what's coming at you until it's coming at you" she cast a glance through the mirror. "I'm almost beginning to feel sorry for that guy. Then again - I'll let Jade have some fun." Sam smiled. "So. What's next?"

Brian dialed one of his favorite numbers on his phone. "Now," he said, as he waited for someone to answer, "We let Las Vegas' finest SWAT officers do what they do best: Bust down the door, make a mess, scare the citizens, and, ultimately, arrest the bad guy." Someone must have answered at that point, for Brian turned away and began giving directions in a clear voice into the phone.
Brian still didn't understand how a lawyer, albeit a rather sinister one, could wind up in the high ranks of a ruthless Chinese mafia. What didn't they know?
