Now people, let's be honest here. This episode was so incredibly bad. Really, I was such a fan of the first two seasons. Season 3 was bad. But appearently the writers don't learn from their mistakes. I do intend to watch every episode of the new season though. But those season 3 and 4 dvd's...nah. After seeing this episode, I was so happy that LV's premiere rocked.
-This gang? Come on. Cliche, cliche, cliche
-The action? Yawn, BOOORING! Ehm...what about some good dramatic scenes played by good actors?
-Horatio's confessing. I must say I am interested about what happened, but... it makes the show so much heavier to watch.
-The show feels so dark..I mean, that scene were Calleigh, Delko and Ryan walk towards the crime scene? What was that about? And why didn't they smile? First day back on the job and you pull a face like that? They must looove their job.
-Natalia seemed nice. Don't know what she adds to the show though.
-The only kind of good thing was the tension between Ryan and the reporter. But well, it doesn't really catch my attention that much.
Why can't we have lighter episodes like in the first two seasons? Better character development, which is not too overdramatic? I'm sorry Miami but...
You JUMPED THE SHARK!
So what did you guys think?

Honestly, it was pretty bad especially for a season premiere.
What was the point of the cutting back and forth between slow-motion shots of Calliegh, Ryan, and Eric? It was getting pretty annoying.
The only thing that has me wanting to watch the rest of the season is the plot with Horatio. I did think that introducing him as at least a moderate church-goer was a little sudden and late. (On the other hand, the shots of the church were amazing in my opinion.) I am bit curious to see what Stetler knows and what trouble he is going to cause. I know he's an ass but I've missed his antagonistic plot lines.

well I, on the other hand, looved the season premiere... don't know exactly why but it brought back the season2-feeling to me... can't really explain it though...

Could you explain why you thought it was season 2 like? In season 2 the characters still had a team feeling, there was hardly action, there weren't fake maffia gangs and the characters weren't depressed.

That's it, I think. Season 2 felt great to me, and unlike the most of you, this season, season 4, feels great to me too. I think I like the shooting techniques and the colorfilters they used :PBut you could be right indeed.

These terrible color filters weren't there in the 2nd season. Just look at the lab, what a difference!

I haven't seen this episode yet. I have watched every episode from S1-S3 but I have missed some of four. What I have seen though is odd. Calleigh and Horatio just act different the writers have done something weird I think. I hope S5 is better.
