Hey, do you guys ever notice that a lot of bad things happen to Nick (George Eads) much more than the other characters, such as the fact that he was assaulted when he was 9 by a babysitter, his friend was murdered (kristie hopkins) after he was with her, he had a stalker, has had a suspect hold a gun in his face when they were all alone at least twice, he was kidnapped and burried alive in grave digger....can anyone else think of any other bad things that have happened to Nick?

I guess we'll find out about the worse things later. But you are right, bad things happen to Nick all the time.

Yes but i have noticed that alot of bad things happen to nick now and alot of bad things happened to sara when she was a child!

It's probably because Nick is the character most people can relate to. He's just an average guy who wants to be superman and wants to help people and save them, and I think a lot of people feel that way, even if they won't admit it.
So yeah, the writers have things happen to him so the audience really connects.

So yeah, the writers have things happen to him so the audience really connects. Never thought of it that way, but indeed, Nick is the character you can identify the most with. But bad things happend to Sara and Catherine to so it's not only Nick who is getting a beating. |
